'I came on the wind of my sister': Australian model Ashley Hart admits she found fame thanks to supermodel sibling Jessica

Ashely Hart doesn't mind admitting she got a helping hand forging her way into the world of modeling.

The stunning blonde has opened up about her easy transition into the industry thanks to the success of her Victoria's Secret model older sister, Jessica Hart.

'Obviously, I came on the wind of my sister,' the 25-year-old tells the May issue of Women's Fitness Australia, on sale April 10.

The sisters share a close bond, with Ashley telling her Instagram followers that Jessica, 28 is her 'sister and best friend in the whole world', when the pair celebrated the older Hart's birthday in New York last month.

The bright and bubbly star, who teaches and studies yoga when she's not busy on photo shoots, also reveals her battle to feel like a 'proper model' to the magazine.

'I never felt like it suited me,' she admitted, referring to finding her place in the sometimes superficial industry.

But Ashley tells the magazine she believes the importance of health and wellbeing is spreading on a wide scale in the modeling world.

The super-fit is certainly leading the charge, choosing ambassadorial roles with brands that fit with her values and sharing her healthy lifestyle on social media.

In February Ashley revealed the surprising decision to spend more than four months apart from her boyfriend Buck Palmer, while the two pursued separate spiritual journeys.

The model, who qualified as a yoga teacher in 2008, returned to New York to complete her studies in Vinyasa Flow Yoga, while her beau headed to India to study meditation.

However it looks like the pair are set to be reunited shortly, with Ashley recently telling Instagram followers she's got 'two weeks to go 'til home', tagging Buck in the post.
