While it's designed to avoid staircases, the X8 Pro can sometimes be confused by steep slopes and other obstacles, particularly if they're placed near the edge of the staircase. If you want to limit access to a specific area you can use the app to draw virtual No-Go lines around objects and furniture that the D4 must stay clear of.
