The iCandy Orange is one of the most well-known double buggies that are available due to its outstanding comfort. It's an all-terrain pushchair with soft suspension that makes light work of bumpy surfaces. It can accommodate up to 30 seating configurations and comes with an integrated ride-on board that can be used for older kids who prefer walking plus a 'cinema seating' mode which raises the back seat for better visibility.

Alternatively, the phil&teds dot is a brilliant single buggy that is available from day one which is then able to take 2 (or 3 wheel buggies!) Multiple configurations are possible. This is especially useful if you have a baby in your car. The frame can be affixed to a wedgie that allows for optimal lie-flat positioning. Also, car seat adapters that can be used with a wide range of brands.

Suspension

The suspension of a double 3 wheel buggy will determine how easy you and your child/children are able to push it. It is essential to have a smooth ride, because babies can feel every bump in the road. This is especially relevant if you drive on rough terrain such as grass or unpaved roads. Some models also come with locking front wheels to help in maneuvering and navigating obstacles such as curbs.

Some models come with air-filled tyres that provide a fantastic all-terrain adventure, but they could be prone to punctures, therefore, make sure you have spares in the trunk. Some models have gel or foam tyres that are designed to take the bumps and are less susceptible to punctures, however, you may find them to be a bit stiff and uncomfortable on your child's back if you decide to jog.
